Fursuit Care Guide
A Little Green Machine
A little green machine will make washing your fursuit slightly easier than the common hand cleaning method. A green machine allows you to get a deep clean on your fursuit head, bodysuit, hand paws, feet paws, and tail. Cold Water only.
Washing the Fursuit Head
When washing the fursuit head, use the little green machine with a small amount of detergent added to water to wet the face and neck fur lightly. Do not over saturate the face with the cleaning solution. Once the cleaning solution is lightly applied, use the little green machine to remove the water from the face. After washing the fursuit, brush out the fur immediately and place near a fan to help the fursuit dry. If you do not brush the fur after washing it, the fur will not look sleek.
This method does NOT apply to protogen head fursuits.
Detergent
Our preference for cleaning detergent is Tide sport. All of our fursuit hand paws, most tails, and bodysuits are machine washable.
Brush your Fursuit
Once your fursuit has come out of the washing machine or you have completed hand washing it, you must brush your fursuit thoroughly. By bursh your fursuit before it dries, it keeps the fur fibers looking new a sleek. If you do not brush your fursuit after it has been cleaned, the fur fibers may not dry in the proper direction.
Machine Washable
Our bodysuits, and hand paws are machine washable. We recommend cold wash only on the delicate setting in your washing machine. When adding your detergent (Tide sport) to the washing machine, only add a small amount. DO NOT DRY YOUR FURSUIT IN THE DRYER.
Fursuit Sprays
When using fursuit sprays, do not saturate your fursuit. Fursuit sprays smell nice and are a good way to keep your fursuit smelling good during a convention, but too much of certain sprays could stain your fursuit depending on how the fursuit spray was created. Always test your fursuit spray before spraying it directly on your fursuit.

Wearing
Guide
Handmade
All our fursuits and costumes are handmade so they can be fragile in certain areas. Always be careful with your fursuit because if you are too rough, it could become damaged. We do our best to build our fursuits as strong as possible to be able to handle excessive wear. But if you are rough on your fursuit it could become damaged.
Stay Hydrated
When you are fursuiting, always make sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
Travel
When traveling with your fursuit, never carry the fursuit by the ears or the neck fluff. When packing for a convention, do not use shrink bags on the head or feet paws as this could cause them to warp.
Fursuiting
When putting on your bodysuit, the feet paws should already be zipped on. Always get used to wearing the bodysuit first and practice wearing it before taking it to a convention or public area.
When wearing a new fursuit head for the first time, wear for short periods of time to get used to wearing it.
